How does IPL Skin Rejuvenation work?

When the light is passed over the skin and absorbed by the specific chromophore (structure) that is being targeted (ie pigment, veins etc), that chromophore is then heated and destroyed and reabsorbed into the body.

How soon will I see results?

Results will vary depending on the chromophore being targeted along with a few other variables including age and depth of the chromphore. Multiple treatments are always necessary to gain these results. A course of treatments is recommened and will be tailored to the individual.

Does it hurt?

There is little to no discomfort during the treatment and only slight redness immediately after the treatment that will subside within a few hours.
